Hello! Welcome to Wild Monkeys Childcare. Here at Wild Monkeys Childcare we are unique! We aim to provide a homely environment, similar to a childminder, in harmony with the developmental and social opportunities of a nursery - the best of both worlds! We are also one of only a handful of nurseries in the local area offering Forest School provision! We are registered with Ofsted, which allows you to apply for the childcare element of your Universal Credits, Tax Free Childcare, Early Years Funding (15 & 30 hours) for 9 month old plus . You can find out more about this here. Ofsted On our last Ofsted inspection, which was on 28/10/22, we received a grading of Outstanding. The grading system is as follows... Grade 1 - Outstanding: outstanding provision is highly effective in meeting the needs of all children exceptionally well. This ensures that children are very well prepared for the next stage of their learning. Grade 2 - Good: good provision is effective in delivering a provision that meets all of the needs of all children well. This ensures children are ready for the next stage of their learning. Grade 3 - Satisfactory: satisfactory provision is performing less well than expectations in one or more of the key areas. It requires improvement in order to be good. Grade 4 - Inadequate: provision that is inadequate requires significant improvement and/or enforcement. The provision is failing to give children an acceptable standards of early years education and/or is not meeting the safeguarding and welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
